Course aims:

All behaviour is a form of communication and behaviour that challenges is a way to communicate an unmet needs. Understanding the causes of challenging behaviour is the first step towards finding ways to support individuals and manage their behaviour. Learners gain an understanding of this and how to support an individual to manage their behaviour. This course finishes with techniques to help the learner build personal emotional resilience to support them at difficult times.
