Course background:

This course is aimed at those working with or responsible for the welfare and wellbeing of individuals with Epilepsy.

This course supports:

KLOE Questions: S3, E1, E2, E4, C1, C3, C4, R1, W1 & W2. Fundamental Standard: Staffing
SfC recommend refresher period: Specific conditions – 3 yearly or when a new need is identified.

Course aims:

The course is designed to ensure learners are provided with relevant theoretical knowledge and skills, whilst supported with a simulated practical based assessment.

Please note: A competency framework is not included in this training. Competency is achieved in the workplace following the training. Each procedure needs to be signed off by a qualified, senior member of staff.
