Course background:

This half day introduction course covers broad types, classifications and forms of medication, as well as safe handling and storage, and relevant legislation.  It reflects social care principles and values and includes the need for accurate recording and reporting.

We highly recommend that staff attending this course have already witnessed or shadowed at least one medication round in the workplace to enable them to have an awareness of the process.
