Course background:

This 3-hour course has been developed for all staff who may have the requirement to move and handle a range of objects in their role. It can be used either as an introduction to the safer moving of objects or to up-date knowledge and practice.

This course supports:
KLOE Questions: E3. Fundamental Standard: Safety.
SfC recommend refresher period: Annually or when a new risk is introduced.

Course aims:

The purpose of the course is to ensure that attendees have the knowledge and skills to safely and competently move and handle without incurring injury. This course will ensure that the responsibilities of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations are met.
